My friend has a Zetec S in white with blue stripes, all components and body parts colour matched, the only thing that lets it down is it has a green dashboard light, can anyone tell me if it can be changed so that the lights match the rest of the car's colour scheme?

If so, do you know how or where I can get info on how to do this?

Thanks.

Blue lights on the dashboard would really finish the car nicely.

Hey Kash,

Now you've joined, let me welcome you to the forum. Take a look around you'll find some really useful info and cool stuff on here. cool

I should have said in the OP that it's his dials and guages that he wants to change, these are illuminated green at the moment and would look better in blue.

Thanks for the link though. thumbup

The only thing i can think of is try a specific Fiesta forum and see if anyone else has already done this. Something like Fiesta Network.co.uk or the Owners Club - www.zsoc.com

I can tell you how to change them on a Focus or Mondeo as i've done both, but the wife used to have a mk6 fiesta and i know its a bit different.

The instrument panel of the fiesta if its pre mk5 (2002 onwards) is flood lit remove the cluster and then take the green filter out , you can then go any colour you want . digital odo is just a bulb in the back

heater controls and dash is SMD's unless your good with a soldering iron you will need to send it away to have them swapped over , aceparts etc can do them i think.

Oh and swapping them over will void all warranty on those components .

You do realise that this thread was originally posted back in August 2007 right?

I think the OP has probably sorted the bulbs out by now and probably even sold the car laugh

So essentially all you've done is bump an 11 year old thread to try and make yourself £30 offering to fit some bulbs - jesus wept laugh
