Ford fans, i need your help...
i'm thinking of buying a classic Ford to make use of classic insurance (cars 25 years or older) and spending about £2000. But what??? my first thoughts were Mk2 Escorts but they still seem fairly expensive. I'm sure you probably know more than me, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

mk2 3 4 or 5 cortina, mk3 capri, escort mk2 estate or 4 door, or some of the older models, anglia, 100e even
all these are still relitively cheap, you can get a very good rust free 2 litre capri for £2000 for example
mk1 and mk2 escort 2 door models are VERY expensive, because the rally boys have smashed up all the decent shells and they are in short demand. 5 years ago you could get a mint 2 door non RS car for peanuts, now its several thousand, regardless of engine etc.. crazy money
