Puma Shocks & Springs

I've just got some AVO shocks to put on my Puma (the Fiesta ones) but, when trying to fit them the thread at the top seems to be about 30mm too short! Any suggestions (and, no, I haven't got the wrong ones - I even rang AVO directly to check!)

Its due to a change in strut top mount design. When I put new OEM struts on my R-Reg Puma, the new struts were shorter and I was advised I needed the new top mount & lower bush assy to complete the job. These parts sound like they are required for your AVO struts which appear to be based on the later strut design.
