Hi,

I've got a Ford Focus and I'm needing a new set of front tyres. I've currently got some eco things, but they dont feel too good when cornering, feel abit slippery. Just wondering if anyones got some good suggestions as to what tyre's I should look at, wanting good handling from them. On a budget of around £70 per tyre.

Cheers

Toyo Proxies, maybe a bit more than the budget though.

Well a friend gave me this list:

Yokohama c.drive: http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/reifenbestellen.pl?ty...
Toyo Tranpath: http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/reifenbestellen.pl?ty...
Falken Ziex ZE 512: http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/reifenbestellen.pl?ty...
Falken Eurowinter HS-437: http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/reifenbestellen.pl?ty...
Toyo Proxes CF-1: http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/reifenbestellen.pl?ty...
Toyo Vario-V2: http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/reifenbestellen.pl?ty...

That site seems to do some fairly cheap tyres. I can get them fitted myself, as I have access to a balancer etc...

Which Proxes were you talking about, seems to be a few different varients? Any of those worth a shout?

I use the Falken ZE512 on the missus car. Seem to be pretty good. I get about half the mileage compared to the eco-5hit long life stuff that was on before but the difference in grip is immense.
