When is the next incarnation due? Is it going to be a Mk 2.5 or a Mk 3? I saw some Autocar artist pics a few months back and thought it looked really nice (not that I'll be able to stretch to one).

Last I heard on hear it was end of this year/beginning of next. Hopefully it'll be soon enough for me to get one... I've only got another 26500 miles till mine goes back now.

Paul.

there wont be a new replacement for a couple of years yet the current one hasnt been around that long more like a facelifted model in the near future.

Late this year / early next, expect the styling to be radically different from the current model. The 2.5T in the ST is being dropped in favour of a 2.0 turbo.

I've been informed it's closer to the CC styling.

The CC is also being restyled so that could be tricky.

The latest seals appear to cure the problems on those affected which is good.

About time-the whole CC fiasco has been the usual Ford(non funny) joke.

"The 2.5T in the ST is being dropped in favour of a 2.0 turbo."

why? getting the same if not more power out of a 2 litre is surely increasing the likelyhood of reliability issues.

Im guessing they are looking to make the mpg closer to the VW equivalents

I wonder why Ford don't employ the people who do these mock up pictures as if they brought that out as the new FST they would be selling a fair few and their image would be much more up market...........

Reality will be a boring rehash i bet...........
