Hello all , new to forum and looking for some help . I have an 03 Focas Estate Auto 1.6, a couple of months ago the instruments would intermittantly all die the come on again only for a few seconds . But now the spedo ,rev counter ,oil and fuel guages do not work . The indicator lamps and oil warning etc light pre start ?
I have been told that the Vss may be at fault but i get no random reving of engine also that some clusters have a known fault ? anyone know what this known fault is ? or what models it effects .
thanks in advance for your assistance . biggrin

Definately not the VSS or your transmission wouldn't shift worth a damn.

For 2003 there is a (U.S.)TSB #18581- Erratic insturment cluster gauges and / or warning lights. Not sure if it's the same TSB number in Europe or not.

The cluster is £252.38 incl vat and will need configuration so expect to pay another £75-150 for fitting and programming.
