Does a focus need lowering when 17'' wheels have been fitted? does anyone have a pic of a standard (1.6 zetec '03) focus with standard suspension and 17'' alloys? what tyres does the focus need,any issues with rubbing when carrying passengers/full lock?

Why bother? They will look gash and it will handle badly..

Got 18's on mine and aside from being a bit bumpy they just fit right on. Course they do look a bit silly but were on the car when I got it......

No is the simple answer. Ford fitted 17's as standard to the MP3 and ST170 models.
