Galaxy 115 TDi - lack of power

Hi. Geetings all - new to this forum (but regular visitor to Mustang forum - my other car )

Can anyone help? Our '03 Galaxy 115 TDi is becoming quite tempramental. 0n occasions car runs fine, other times there's a complete lack of power (turbo boost?) meaning car still revs (slowly) to 4000rpm, but there's hardly any pickup, and worryingly power can almost die (very disconcerting when overtaking).

Any suggestions? Something blocking fuel injectors? Turbo not working properly? Why does this happen sporadically?

these are a vw engine and suffer with 2 common problems one is the maf (mass airflw metre) the other is a sticky turbo actuator find someone with a scanner to plug it in and it will tell you what the problem is
