Reading Evo's 'knowledge' section, I discovered that they have the FRP down as weighing 1170 kg, and the standard Puma as 1040kg. I just wondered if anyone knew why? I can't think of anything or combination of extra things they could have added that could weight that much. The wings are bigger but IIRC some of them are aluminium, the wheels and brakes are bigger but they'd be mad if they increased the unsprung weight by anything more than about 10kg, and that would only account for 40kg out of 130. Or are the figures just wrong?

depends on whether they were quoting dry weight or not, manufacturers figures are specific about what fluids are in the car etc.
