Hi, looking to pic some brains here - I have recently bought an mk4 escort cab that has had a tubo conversion (leaves alot to be desired! lol & is quit tatty) - wich i intend to mint up & keep. my dilema is the engine as the body-work isn't really an issue for me.i'm thinking of a zvh (can the 8v head be used, what sort of management do i need)or a 1900 bloc - mahle pistons ect - cosworth management ( can any1 tell me about cozy-man on a cvh?)or 1.6 cvh mahle pistons ect - i would like to get a bit above the 200 club & the 1.6 seems to level around this.i have so far -chip-st3 t3-pace i/c-stanless exh-frnt 300mm disc conv & cozzy rear disc conv- dump valve - vernier pulley - alloy header & swirl pot - full susp kit - 5 spoke 17's - full 90 spec 1/2 leather, kit & bumpers - twin headlights - single wiper - m5 mirrors - cozzy boot spoiler - 4 spoke rs wheel - 3 gauge heater panel - stainless heater & dials & lots of loom wiring (just for peace of mind!)
i need a full silicone hose set (blue) - mahle pistons - cam - & any shiny bits if any1 could think of anything else please don't hesitate to post - or if you can give advice on any of these matters - it would be greatly appreciated - i USED to be into it, but due to a bad rta, i have been left with frontal lobe brain damage (like richard hamond) so have forgot more than what i know now!! lol you've got to! :}
