new clutch for 1.8TD mondeo

Hi chaps, my clutch has gone and ive been quoted £380 to replace,. this sounds a bit steep anyone else had one done to compare?

Don't have experience of that car but the quotes for our v6 was from 500 to 700 based on the fact that the subframe incl engine/box needs to be dropped and the slave cylinder and the thrust bearing are built in to the same part.

Phone Mr Clutch and see how that compares. If it's still as expensive then it's a more complicated job than you'll be anticipating.
