Hi, I had a hands free kit fitted to my car recently. The guy had to remove the glove box. This is where the locking wheel nut key resided. I noticed it wasnt in there any more(definately was in there as I only just bought teh car and checked)

I have looked around teh car and cant find it. No problem I have the code for it ill just ring up a Ford dealer.

Dealer number one. £60 and six weeks usualy people just pay for us to remove the old ones and buy new be about £40

Dealer number two £20 but will take 6 weeks and I cant pay over the phone will have to go into the dealer

so do I have any options to find replacement keys or do I have to wait 6 weeks?

just a moan. I recently got one for my 15 year old porche(my fault this time) and it took 2 days to arrive.

So whats Fords Excuse? If I needed tyres etc etc i would be in trouble. IMO very very bad service.

right I found them in the only place I didnt look! the central storage bin I know I know)
even so I still recon its pretty bad service.

two different stories from 2 different dealers with a big difference in price and a long wait for both.

Seems to be the same all over mate.

Got a few dealers round by me and no matter which one i use, i'll always get different prices and even different part numbers!! Only thing is my local one has just closed down. The Parts fella in there was always really nice and helpful, especially compared to the other dealers i've visited.

Glad you found it anyway. I keep mine in my central ashtray. Fits great.
