Errm what tyres? Try posting the Make and model as that link just takes you to the selector!

I have Pilot Sports 1's on mine, great in the dry, require a bit more finesse with the loud pedal in the wet.

The way I look at it is dont cut corners on your tyres or you wont go around corners!

Yep I've just put a set on mmine and so far they seem to offer limpet-like grip in the dry but are quite frankly useless in the wet.

They do however look rather brilliant, which is of course, of major importance

I'd say (baring in mind spring/summer is coming) go for them.

Oh, one other thing, dont expect to get anything more than 3/4k out miles of them yikes

Tis true matey, they are very soft tyres and simply do not last. The chap who put them on for me told me that the set he put on his Merc lasted 2500 miles...

The upshot is that they are relatively cheap and offer unbelievable grip in the dry.

Incidently, can you offer any advise as to the problem with my clutch?

cheers,

Simon
