broken cat?

ok iv located what the mystery blowing noise is. The blowing is coming from the first joint where the cat joins onto the exhaust(see pic). At first i assumed the gasket just needed replacing or something, however upon further inspection it would appear that there is some holes rusted in the sleeve section of the joint, on the side that joins onto the cat. This pipe is actually welded to the cat, so im unsure whether just the section of piper could be replaced or whether im gonna need a new cat any one got any thoughts? id rather not have to replace the cat if there was another way! thanks guys.
