The heater on my wife's fiesta (2000 Zetec-S) is not blowing hot. I have read that it is probably the heater valve at the back of the bulkhead that needs changing but thought I would check the fuse first. However on looking in the manual I can't work out which fuse controls this valve (it has a wire going into the auxilary fuse box).

I would be grateful if anyone could tell me which number fuse I should check before changing the valve. Also any other suggestions about what may be causing the problem would be helpful and is changing the valve a DIY job or best left to a garage?

Thanks, Bill

When you open the fuse box there should be a diagram on the underside of the lid, this should show you which one you require, my focus has two fuse boxes, one in the engine bay and one behind the glovebox. If you can't identify the correct one it shouldn't take long to check them all.

Sorry i can't be of more helpful

Regards

Chris

Thanks. I'll just check the heater valve then, they're only about a tenner on ebay.
