Focus head unit adapter

Just bought an Alpine head unit for my sons Focus, and i'm just wondering what connector it will need to connect the wires at the back. I have a face plate, but i'm not sure of the connector. The current unit is a tape player, 4000 something i think. Any help will be appreciated.

if you go to somewhere like halfords they will have adaptor leads for this - then it's just plug and play

Hi if its before 2003 you will need a pc-2-08-04 also if you want the steering wheel controls to work if any then you can get a adaptor for that.
