I have wandered over here from the TVR pages to see if any of you Ford lot can suggest where I can get some wheels. I ask here because the hubs are four stud 108pcd (think they are Granada) Problem is I am looking for a pair of 17x8 ET 32 and a pair of 16x7.5 ET25. The 15s are ok but the 17x8 seem to be problem unless I pay a fortune for them. Don’t need anything flash as they are only for some slicks.

Any ideas appreciated

I've got a set of 16" oz racing wheels if that's any good...

They look very similar to the oz racing Superturismo WRC but I don't know if they are an older version or something else. The wheels are 16" wheels with 8" rims. The PCD is 108 and the offset is ET25 (this is stamped on the wheels). The wheels are not cosmetically perfect and a couple have several marks on them but these could possibly be polished out but as is they are functional rather than pristine.

Shod with race wets at the minute.

Any use?

Thanks Mark. That’s just the sort of thing I need but not the perfect sizes. Not certain that 8 inch will fit the front and ideally the offset is wrong for the rear. I will have a measure up and have a think abut fixing the rear offset with spacers. Also the rear tyres I was hoping to fit need 17 rims, but I will look at the lists again and bung you a PM

Anybody else got any ideas ? was 17x8 inch standard on anything ford with the four stud hub ?

No worries, no rush as they probably aren't going anywhere fast.

Have you thought about steel rims? You'll get a better price than big alloys and they'll probably weigh less. That's what I'll be putting on my locost with slicks but it a much smaller size than you're after.

Can’t find listings for steel rims above 15 inch unless you can suggest any, if they are available then they would be ideal. I was thinking of Alloy ones because they can usually be made to a specific offset. Blue book has a max spacer size but I can’t recall what it is, ideally I would prefer not to use any spacers.

Sorry, couldn't find any. All the places I've looked at don't do them in that size

Is there any particular reason you want such large wheels as slicks of smaller sizes come up on ebay on a regular basis for small wheels?

If the blue book allows it you'd be ok with hubcentric spacers I would have thought but they aren't cheap.

I want slicks to match the existing road tyre diameter and width. That way the gearing should remain ok and the geometry if I use xplies shouldn’t be that far off. As far as I can see the ideal rears to match the 245 45 16 are for a 17 x 8.5 rim there is a 16 that comes close. Think I would prefer new slicks as I am looking for a super soft compound for hill climb use.
