Hi all,

Just bought my self a really nice old escort mk3 1983 model as basically something to get to work in and park where I like without too much worries, my questions is would it be poss to insure it as a classic? has anyone on here done this? any insurance company’s to recommend for the old fords? any advice appreciated really!

You will be able to insure it as a classic, most cars over 10-15 years can be.

When I had my Mk2 Escort I had it insured with HIC and also Adrian Flux. I found HIC better to deal with but I believe they are now the same company.

..If you look in the back of Classic Ford magazine you'll find quite a few insurer's advertising.

Cheers, Greg.
