Focus Sports Suspension?

Hello all,

Just wondering whether anybody has the factory sports suspension on their 05/06 Ford Focus? I seem to remember it being on the options list for around £130 or so, but decided to go for the stereo upgrade instead. Anyway i was wondering how this effects the ride and handling (especially as my car has the factory 18"s) and also whether anybody knows if it can be purchased/fitted after sale? Id only be interested in ford parts i think, dont really want to start the whole modifying game as part of me wants to leave the car standard, save some money (+ re-sale value) and get something a little more sporty (ST or an Elise would be great) once i finaly finish this student lark. Any info would be great.

the sports spring option is available as an aftermarket item.

The springs are supplied by Eibach, i think the fitted price by a dealer was around the 350 quid mark plus the vat
