SCRAP NEEDS MAKEOVER

My winter runabout XR2i has just scraped through its mot, but after its 8 hour meeting with the mig welder was over it now looks a bit of a 2@. Had to remove the body kit to get to the rust so that is now bodged on as all the little nuts that hold it on snapped, the bit round the filler cap is pure filler, and basically the whole thing looks like scrap. what can i do to make it look half respectable ?? (with about £100) was thinking mat black?

sell all the bits off it and then go and buy a decent car....

some of my mates who are deeply into the Vdub scene have been taking the paint off their cars for a total rust covering... With all the brightwork and bits lookng pristine - it's amazing how good rust can look.
