Flashing hazard lights on a Street Ka.

My girlfriend has an 04 Street car and the hazard lights keep intermitently flashing. Unfortuately ford ripped me off with regards to the warranty so i need to try and fix this my self. I have made sure all of the doors, boot and roof cover are closed. It doesn't matter if the car is locked or not.

Does anyone have any ideas what may be wrong and where i could start looking???

General rule of thumb with interitent car lecky faults is a loose earth.

Check simple things like loose connectons on the switch or fuse box.
