Hi guys i have a v plate ST24 fiited with 18" bk alloys was just wondering what are the best replacement tyres any feed back would be great size is 215/35/18 can 225 be put on?

I drove the diesel version a short while back, and was very happy with the standard SC2's that were on it.
Only under heavy braking at a highish speed did the front end squirm, which I understand is a trait with the SC2's design.
I'd be suspect of putting wider tyres on the same rim as they could come undone if cornering hard.
Is there something about the SC2's your not happy or confident about?
