ST-3 Delivery

I Ordered my st-3 in performance blue with bluetooth at the back end of July, with an estimated delivery date of 27th September. Spoke to the dealership this morning who has told me that if I get it by the end of October it will be a result.

What is going on with the ST production, I know they had problems early doors with delivery dates, but I was lead to believe the problems were now solved. My car was supposed to be built at the end of July.....I'm now being told it is due to be built in late September. I can understand if Ford are struggling to meet demand on a car, but surely those due to be built should be built on time.....or am I being naive. Anyone else experiencing the same problems with the ST?

Call me a sinic, but is al this a publicity stunt to raise the profile and therefore demand for the car?

I don't doubt that......I think it's the factory orders they are struggling with. In fact I was told that Ford actually stopped taking orders for a period of a few weeks during July in order to catch up with orders.......Am I being taken for a ride here?
