KA roof bar fitting - have I got the bits ?

Have a 2001 base model and have been assured
that it is possible to fit fords genuine
roof bars. Bought a set on Ebay but I assume
the rain gutter rubber must be removed but
the fitting on the bars looks like a clamp
system ? I was expected a bolt system ?
Am I barking up the wrong tree !

Anyone done this basic fitting before ?>
