Please can someone help? I have a type N gearbox which I believe is off of a sierra, it`s fitted to my 16 year old tvr. It is leaking oil at the exit shaft where the propshaft slides in, basically the seal is shot and it is proving to be a swine to get the seal out. Does anyone have any tips on how to get a stubborn seal out? it will not shift, I`ve tried a screwdriver to lever it out with no luck, many thanks if you can help in any way, cheers

Hi
You can try heating the gearbox end with a blowtorch or use a bigger screwdriver and tap the handle with a hammer working your way round hope this helps
