Mazda 121 (Fiesta) Not starting...

For some reason my mums Rebadged Ford Fiesta has decided to stop wanting to start. Tried to jump start it from my Focus, but got the same result. A rapid clicking from the starter. Initially I think the battery would be gubbed, but surely is should have started when I jumped it? Eventually i had to push it back up the hill and roll it back down to start it.

Also, at first glance the Alternator appears to be in a Serpentine belt situation! Endura E engine. Anyone DIY changed one of these? What is the belt connected to?
