?abnormal tyre wear?

ive had my streetKA from new and its just had 1st year service. ive done 8.5k miles. the front 2 tyres outsides only have worn to "amber". is a this normal wear pattern? why would they wear like that? my shoddy driving? the other tyres are still "green" minimal wear.

Your tracking is out. Any tyre fit (aka Quik Fit) place will do it for you. We charge €30 (maybe £20-25). Don't bother replacing the tyres unless you do the tracking at the same time, as you'll only do the same thing again.

Any number of things can cause it to go, pot holes, bumping up curbs too fast etc. i.e regular harsh shocks/bumps. Nearly all cars will be out to some degree, but excessive wear would indicate that it's out by a fair bit.

thanks for that, surprised they didnt advise it at service last week.
we have a massive speed bump followed by an immediate pothole on the way into our accomadation which im sure hasnt helped.
