Hi Charlie, it was me and the Sierra that you had on the rolling road the other day, oh and by the way the fuelling problems seem to be down to a cracked spacer under the carb giving a nice air leak at high revs. Anyway, the V8 thats been fitted into the Sierra is a small block Ford 302HO engine in fairly basic form. Its fitted to an american style T5 gearbox. Only produces about 215bhp & 250lbs torque but it's enough. Because the engine is quite small, smaller than a Rover I beleive, the fit is really nice from what I can see, and was all factory done - would recommend trying to get an XR8 as you can put hand on heart and tell the insurers that it's a non modified standard production car.

Hi Zak, I'd be really interested in getting a copy of the road test. If you can scan and email please do it via my profile. Also any infomation you get can hold of from S.A would be great - please email me if you can get anything.
Cheers Tony
