IIRC the Cossy V6 is surprisingly lacking in tuneability, while there seems to be plenty of tuning know how for the duratec v6. Also, the Cossy v6 has an iron block and is fairly heavy (I think), while the duratec is a nice modern all aluminium job.

Its not particularly tuneable, but is very flexible, strong as an ox, and you can turbo/supercharge them effectively.......300-500hp! How much power do you need?
I have an S1 with the standard V6 cossie, albeit with a programable ECU aand some descent headers. The car goes like stink, and I was dreaming the other day what it would go like in a Lotus seven type kit car! A bit of extra weight may not help dreaking, acceleration, or cornering, but it can make a car more stable in some conditions, which can be benificial sometimes. Waht are we talking about....30-40kgs?
