mondeo 2.0l zetec

hi guys,
im looking to get a mondeo 2.0l engine for a project and i was hoping you could give me some help on what type of mods to do to add to the engines character. im currently working at demon tweeks in wrexham (a jobs a job) so i can get discount on most parts, im looking at either carbs or throttle bodies and i was hoping someone else on the forum had done either of these mods on the engine and could tell me which works better with this engine?

The sky is the limit really. What do you intend doing with it? If it's just a plaything to sit on a dynamometer then you could polish the ports, put on high lift vernier cams, low compression pistons, turbo, intercooler, water injection and custom ecu... Any sort of budget?

With talk of carbs and inlet trumpets, it sounds more for show than for go, in which case a V6 with its alloy inlets is more bling.
