On my old Focus ST170 I found that after a sequence of turning the ignition on and off and locking and unlocking the doors it would auto lock the doors when the car reached 10mph. Does anyone know if this can be done on the new Focus ST?

People have been told that this is unavailable on UK Focus' at this time, whether it will become available in the future is another question.

A guy from Thailand (I think it was) posted on the FFOC that a guy plugged a PDA running OBD software into his ST (or Mk2) and managed to turn it on. However people from the UK have posted that they have watched the dealers look for this option on the WDS to no avail.

The feature is there but hidden. Your friendly stealer will happily charge you £70 to unlock it.

As soon as somebody finds out the "cheat" I'm sure it'll be posted all over the Focus forums.

Might be worth trying these instructions? They are for a MK3 Mondeo, but I'm sure they originally came from a Focus forum originally..

Yeah those work on the original Focus but not the new one.
