I never Knew eggs could do so much damage to a car, my Panther Black Focus was unfortunatley hit quite badly with 7 impact sites over the car. Has anyone ever Resprayed a Panther Black Ford. Anybody any Idea how much the Following will cost.
Respray to Bonnet
Respray to Driver Door
Respray to Offside Passenger Door
Respray to nearside quarterpanel
Respray to top of tailgate
Respray to the base of the A pillar
Replacement of one of those black facia things on the B Pillar.

Anybody any idea of the cost of all or some of these things.

Sorry to hear about your car. I'm no expert with paint and body work prices but from your description my guess would be that the entire car needs to be re-sprayed. Unfortunately black is a very difficult color to match.

Sorry again.

Difficult to say. My dad's panther black Mondeo got vandalised just over a year ago and that cost approx £250 a panel. I have to say though, the repair place did an excellent job with the colour match and orange-peel-free finish.

Is it just paintwork damage or have they dented the panels? If it is the paint you may be able to rescue it with various polishes etc. Have a look at www.detailingworld.co.uk and they should be able to advise you. If there are dents, have you called Dent Wizard etc?

I always thought it was one of the easiest to match.

Unfortunately Panther Black is a metallic, which are utter swines to match!

Having said that, my plain black Sierra is a bugg*r for me to match. No matter which touch-up paint I get and how much I shake it, it always ends up looking like dark grey in comparison to the existing deep black on the car. I guess the only way of getting it right is to obtain some paint from a commercial supplier and use a spray gun.

Finally got it fixed

Now that ive had it back for a couple of weeks and polished it up my self a few times. it looks good as new!!!!! it didnt really need the polish other than the fact that i new that if 1 half the car had been done with one kinda polish then the rest of the car had to be done in the same else it may look off.

The facia thing on the B pillar was actually just textured paint and could be easily painted.
No matter wot angle you look at it you would never know it has been sprayed. Done by possibly the best coachworks in Edinburgh - id definetally go back to them - god forbid anything else to happen.

And you think cost? less than £900!!!!!!!!

BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!
