For the second time in 6 months i've had to visit my local parts counter for a new radio ariel, the reason? Some little scrotes keep releiving every Ford in the street of them. I don't want to glue it on because i know they'll just snap it off, anyone know of a alternative ariel i can fit which is out of sight. P.S. I now dont dare fit the new ariel until everyone else has done theirs, i just know one of them will help themselves to mine, Another note, i don't live in a s##t hole either before someone suggests it.

Thanks.

At least its not the Badge.

I can't prove it but I KNOW that the lad next door and his little mate decided it would be fun to pull the badge off my car, however in doing so they managed to lose the gubbins that holds the badge in place. The Result was I needed a new Grill at considerable more expense than the £7 badge!

Can't really suggest a new ariel, its a bit awkward to go for an Out Of Sight item at the current location. You could pre-empt the scrotes by taking the ariel off at night. My ariel worked quite well lying on the back seat for a while, I forgot to refit it after a car wash and didn't notice the difference.

This is so irritating! My mum and I were shopping in Warrington and parked in a multistorey car park and when we got back...some git had unscrewed our ariel and robbed off with it!! I havent heard of any alternative ariel, would be interesting to know!
