From C-MAX Ghia to Focus Titanium
Discussion
Well we used to have a black C-Max Ghia on Ford MRC so it came with heated seats, leather seats, cruise control, electronic handbreak, tinted glass etc. Which are all extras but came as standard as its a Ford Management Role car. Well it was due to be changed to decided to go for the new Focus Titanium. Now considering Titanium is above Ghia you would think there would be similar spec levels. Oh no. For a top spec car im shoked at the lack of any extras. Yeah it has the Sony CD player but thats basically it. No heated seats, part leather (which I prefer), no cruise control, no electronic handbreak, no tinted glass, no electric seats. So far the only good parts I have noticed is that the seats are very surportive as they are semi racing seats, oh and it has the same 'Night Driving Light' as the ST.
Call me snobby you can but im not I just would of thought a higher model spec would be better equiped not less.

I agree, my old man has a Titanium at the moment and is thoroughly unimpressed. Its also spend more time in the dealer than him using it (dodgy DW10 engine).
Its going back to ford very shortly to be swapped for an ST as it was such a let down.
The really stupid thing is that Cruise control isn't even an option on them because of the 'three spoke sports steering wheel'.
If your is a 136ps diesel and you start having trouble when pulling away with high throttle demand (car stutters/stalls/ESP cuts in etc etc) then kick up a huge fuss.
There is a problem with the EGR valves and every 3-5k they get blocked and a new one needs fitting (about £400 part and another £400 for fitting!!!). There is a 'revised' design on the way apparently but it consists of a whole new manifold and the block needs modifying or brackets added.
Just a word of warning for you.
