Does a Focus TDCi have a Cam Belt?
Discussion
Don't know, but this information from www.honestjohn.co.uk/road_tests/?id=154 seems to indicate that the petrol engines use chain drive, and the Diesels use belt drive. I suppose the belt drive provides the extra torque for the diesel injection.

Thanks.
It's a 1.8l which is interesting, but a search on that site revealed this: 1.8 TDCi diesel engine is belt cam, not chain cam like 2.0 Mondeo TDCi.
So thanks for your help, I've got the answer (just not the one I wanted!)
Do you reckon if I rang the dealership that did all the servicing they would be able and willing to tell me if they changed the cam belt?
