Try looking on the Motoring websites and check out prices of cars.

You want a diesel?

My car cost £325 (plus a bit extra for the work we've had to do on it), and (at least now) is a sound car. Somewhere around £1500-1600 for insurance for the first year.

Fiesta 1.25 , cracking fun , engine developed with the help of yamaha so it can take having its nuts revved off all day long , cheap to run and the handlings pretty good too .

Well done that girl. Top choice of motor, too.

Also, have to agree with above post, the 1.25 engine is one of the finest petrol engines ever to be built. I love it.

Got a nephew who turns 17 this week. I think a 1.25 fiesta will suit him down to the ground.

My first motor was an Escort LX, got that when I was 19. Many years ago, it was the best car I ever had never gave me a minutes bother.

I hope you enjoy yours as much, as I enjoyed mine. Happy motoring.

sorry, get it in the neck all the time at work for owning a ford. but then again, the boss owns a skoda!
