When the ignition is off is the ABS pump supposed to be still active?
Have been having problems with the battery going flat, if left for a couple of days.
Recently noticed, while working on the car that every hour or so, the pump runs for 20 seconds approx;
Is this correct with ignition off?

Escort Cosworth, I can't see any point in having pump active with ignition switched off but stand to be corrected!

The fuse that supplies the ABS pump motor is "Hot at all times". The ABS module supplies the ground to turn it on and off. The computers on cars will run some self tests of their circuits when car has been switched of for a length of time so it's possible that the ABS module is turning on the pump motor as a circuit test.
