Can anyone tell me if there are any significant differences between the V6 2.8 & 2.9 cologne engines that would prevent me from fitting a 2.9 power steering pump to my 2.8.
I am converting my 1984 TVR with the 2.8 engine to power steering.
I read somewhere that they rotate in opposite directions is this true and does the design of the pump make that matter?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Jon

Your best bet is prob to look at a Haynes manual for various granadas, but the one thing that is different on the engines is the heads, the 2.8/2.9 change occurred on the later Mk3 Granada which came out in 1986. I would also wonder if there are any differences between the granada and capri engine layouts, especially knowing what TVR are/were like with there parts procurement.
Hope this helps a little.
