Fiesta Mk7 wipers not working

My other half's fiesta wipers (front and rear) stopped working saturday. I've checked all fuses which seem to be ok and moving the stalk up and down I can hear a relay clicking so assume it's working. There has been a bit of trim come loose in the passenger foot well which has some kind of black box attached, this was moved saturday to try and get it to sit back where it should out of sight, I am wondering if this might be the issue but can't see anything obvious.
Has anyone come across this issue before and how was it resolved?

Is there water in the washer bottle ?
Daughters wipers wouldn't work on her Fiesta when bottle was empty

Make sure the bonnet is completely shut, and if it is that the car is recognising it as closed.

What year is it? Do you have power at motor?

Update, had to give in and take it to an auto electrician. Turns out it was a corroded wire on the body control module. All sorted now and could have been a lot more expensive!
