Boot lid on Ford Focus Mk 3.5 sometimes does not shut

Need some advice here.

The boot catch on my Ford Focus Mk 3.5 has been playing up a bit for a while and sometimes wont shut properly.

It does however stay shut when you use the central locking, and can still be opened and locked with the keyless fob without any problem.

I am a bit worried that this could be an MOT failure, as the MOT is booked for tomorrow.

Does anyone know?
