Hello,

I have a question. Should the ford kuga (2021) ecoboost 1.5L 150PS engine have a plastic cover or is it not necessary?

I say most definetly it would have came from ford with one. You should be able to get one from ford at a reasonable price.

A quick search on Google for that car and engine shows there does seem to be an engine cover.
I wouldn’t worry too much if yours is missing. They are there for cosmetic reasons, noise attenuation and maybe to help pass the passenger collision tests, you should be okay without one.

Should have one, as it's a new car I'd be requesting the place you purchased the car from to supply the missing cover.

Some didn't come with them, for whatever reason. I know a few people who bought new and din't have them.

You can either buy a Ford one, or a company called Paintmodz Proform sell their version.
