2.0 Duratorq DPF issues?
Discussion
Our 2016 150 2WD left us stranded the other day, AA man sent me the codes relating to exhaust gas temperature being too high, possibly triggered by a regeneration cycle on the DPF. I know these vehicles have 2 or 3 sensors running along the DPF / exhaust and I know they are prone to getting damaged.
Car will restart after about an hour, assuming once it cools and the sensor allows the vehicle to run again. Appears to be a safe guard.
Anybody experienced any faults like this? It's going back to the dealer today, we've only had it 3.5 months (two weeks out of warranty, what are the chances?) and I'm praying it isn't a case of replacement filter.
