Ford Ranger 3.2 led indicator flash blink

Hey all.
I have a 2016 Ranger 3.2 diesel that I'm wanting to install LED indicator/ brake and stop lights.
I used to just change out the flasher relay for an LED compatible one to stop the fast blink that the LED's created. I believe that the ranger doesn't have a flasher relay as such that can be changed out? Is this correct - and if so what's the method to stop the fast blinking? Do I have to add a resistor inline with the indicator wiring, or can something still be changed all in one place?
I believe the Everest would be the same. In my situation I don't have a standard tub on the rear.
