Ford parts shortages…

Hey All,

Six weeks ago a deer decided to play the frogger arcade game across the A10, and failed - mangling the front end of my baby (cries) ahem sleeper fiesta.

It’s been sat in an repairers forecourt waiting for a front bumper/grilles that are on back order with no eta.

Does anyone have any insight as to how long it might take to get one? Are we talking days/ weeks/ months?

Just employ a South Wales criminal gang to steal the body kit off another one, especially if it’s a mk7.5 ST,

The police won’t do anything, so you’ll get away with it.

At least that seems to be what happened to the people who stole mine.

Fun times. It is indeed a 7.5 ST180….

I was very nearly finished with converting it into a sleeper - the only remaining ST items were the front bumper and rear bumper diffuser panel. (For example, I’d removed the side skirts and welded/ painted the holes in the sills). On that basis I’d be perfectly happy for a base model/ ecoboost bumper to be fitted - does anyone know if they are/might be available earlier than an ST180 bumper?
