Ford fiesta 2002 core plug leak repair

Hi,

Last year, I was told my fiesta 1.4 zetec petrol core plug was leaking (slow). There's no difference driving it apart from when engine is very hot and then I can smell the burnt engine coolant.

I was told the garage could attempt to repair it but they could break the engine block trying to remove.

Can someone recommend what I can ask a different garage in order to fix it? I only need it to last 1-2 more years.

Also what price I should be looking at approx.

Tricky one.

As it isn't a keeper of a car, I would try something like K-Seal, Radweld or whatever your local car shop recommends.
