Oil life or service schedule.

My ST-line is at 18k miles but the oil condition light comes on every time I start it.

On checking the instrument panel it’s at 5% life.

Do I get it changed or wait the other 2k miles and just get it serviced as per distance schedule?

I’ll only be a couple of months till that occurs.

It should say in your service book, but I'd imagine it's whichever comes first, not last. The condition light either means the level is low, or the pressure is low, or both. I'd check the dipstick, I wouldn't want to run the engine if the oil is below the minimum.
