One of the blanking caps at the front on the side of my engine, just behind the timing belt has just split and pissed all my coolant away again!

Where can I get these from?

You mean a core plug has blown out?

Any ford parts dept, will be able to supply a core plug for it.

Could you find the old one?

Did it look / do the others look corroded?

Has antifreeze mixture gone on to the timing belt?

I'd also replace the header tank cap to ensure that the sysem isn't over pressure.

And the prize for the worst image of 05 goes toooooooooo

That looks like the rubber blanking plug of the water pump, on another vehicle a pipe would go back up to the coolant header tank.

Ford dealers will have them, ask them to look on microcat
I'd suggest the P100/Sierra 1.6 pinto engine as being a good place to start.

If it's gone on the belt, think long and hard about changing it, antifreeze weakens the belt !!!
