2022 Ford Focus

Its just a face-lift of the current? Think only difference will be heater controls incorporated into the radio which I'm not a fan of.
I have a 2019 active x estate diesel one of the first of its generation, just gone over 50k on clock at 28 months old. Not much has been has happened, headlining did sqeak at first but now resolved and there was a sensor issue on my engine but that was semi known due to transits and happed around 36k. Third service due at 54k.
As with most manufactures dealerships play an important part and I'm lucky enough to have a good smaller dealership on my doorstep.
Overall its been in the garage less than the dieselgate manufacture before.

Yes its the facelift. Never had a Ford before so will be interesting to see what it's like. I am not a fan of heating controls on screens either although some do it better than others. The new VAG media system is an absolute horror show whereas the screen controls on my wifes Touareg are not bad. Yup although Vignale started off on its own they now do both the ST-Line and Active as a Vignale. I think they're fully spec'ed out so all option boxes ticked? Pop up displays, rear camera, auto parking etc.
But what are you coming from? And what made you choose the 1 litre?
Coming from an 8 series! Simply put, we now have a baby due in March and wife will only go back to work 2 days a week until they go to school. So need to cut spend and cars is the easiest way. But what are you coming from? And what made you choose the 1 litre?
I wanted a no deposit lease as money is going into a kitchen refit at the moment so I was aiming for £200 a month with no deposit. This was the best I could find from a high spec perspective. I could have had more power in a lower spec for a bit more money but its going to be used for an 18 mile round trip commute so preference was more kit. Previous cars have been 840, multiple S5's and Golf R. We still have a new Touareg Black edition as a main car.
Ideally I wanted auto as well but it was another £36 a month so back to rowing cogs for the first time since 2014.
