Fiesta heated windscreen.

2020 Fiesta ST-line

I might be going nuts here but the heated windscreen switch is always showing as on. I think it was switchable off and on when I got the car but I’m not 100% sure

I’ve tried everything I can think of but it only goes off if you turn the whole heating control system.

Am I missing something?

My bad.

It seems it’s not the heated screen switch after all but it is the switch next to the on/off switch.

It looks like it directs heat to the windscreen but you’d think you could switch it off but you can’t

Think that's the ventilation selector. The I/0 button puts the blower on, the l dial selects speed. The one with the screen icon directs the airflow to the screen, and there's a 'feet' button and a 'face' button. Usually selecting one of these cancels the other two. Also A/c, Recirculate and temperature.

Will come on automatically when you're aircon is on but I've never had one that stays on all the time
