Evening all

I’m currently waiting on the delivery of my Fiesta ST but sadly have an issue with my current car, in the morning for the last 3 days I’ve been hearing a warning chime and a warning message on the Ford sync screen saying something about low oil pressure and to stop immediately - but it disappears immediately and no warning lights on the dash.

It never comes on again (even later in the day after the engine cools again) which makes me less likely to think it’s a faulty sensor, but haven’t ruled it out

I’m planning on taking it to a garage to get it looked at, but I’ll feel a bit of a plonker if there’s no error message to share or show when I get there

Tbh from some of the horror stories I’ve read from googling, I’m fearing the worst - can just see a big bill appearing whilst I’m waiting to chop this one in as part ex

Any thoughts or suggestions? I’ve checked oil and it looks fine, anecdotally it felt down on power earlier but I’m not sure - will check again tomorrow

If it's showing on Synch it's more than likely stored a code so I wouldn't worry about the warning being on when you get there.
Other than I can't help I'm afraid.

Hey, what was the outcome of this? My car has exactly the same issue. Low oil pressure report in morning but no other time, no light on dash & no codes showing when plugged in.

caused by the wet belt? The belt disintegrates and contaminates the oil?
